Sister Dear by Laura McNeill
I had the hardest time putting the book down, and that’s becoming unusual for me past a certain hour. The tension I felt once Olivia was running was palpable. Why is Olivia on the run? And who can be trusted? Olivia unfortunately feels responsible for her mother’s death, and when her father is missing, and someone is in hot pursuit of her, she blames herself for that, too. Olivia is a teenager living in New Orleans with her single chef father, Theo, who is opening a new restaurant.
Both were two of the most tense, gripping domestic suspense books I’d read at the time, and since then, about two years, I’ve been eagerly awaiting a new book, and here it is! Lauren Clark wrote two novels, Center of Gravity and Sister Dear, published by Harper Collins under the name Laura McNeill. Happy Monday, all! Today I am super excited to share my review of another book I group read, and we unanimously endorsed, The World Breaks Everyone by Lauren Clark, now available from Camellia Press!
